Shopped MW ("Shopped", "we", "us") operates the Shopped marketplace platform available at www.shoppedmw.com and via the Shopped Android app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights regarding your data. By using the platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

  • When you register an account, we collect your full name, phone number, and email address (if provided).
  • When making a purchase or engaging in transactions, we may collect additional information including payment details, shipping address, and order history.
  • Profile image (optional, user-uploaded).

  • We collect information about how you use the platform, including products viewed and purchased, features accessed, and actions taken.
  • This information may be collected through cookies, log files, or similar tracking technologies and is used for personalisation and platform improvement.
  • Device identifiers used for delivering push notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Sending order status notifications via SMS, push notifications, and in-app alerts.
  • Personalising product recommendations based on your browsing and purchase history.
  • Communicating with you regarding your account, transactions, and platform updates.
  • Responding to your enquiries and customer support requests.
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of the platform and its users.
  • Improving the platform experience.

3. Information Sharing

  • Other users in connection with transactions — for example, sharing necessary shipping or contact information between buyers and sellers to fulfil an order.

  • We will retain information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

  • You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@shoppedmw.com.
  • To request account deletion, please contact us using the details in Section 10. We will process your request promptly.
  • Please note that we may be unable to delete your account while there are ongoing transactions or unresolved disputes associated with it. In such cases, we will retain only the information necessary to resolve the matter and ensure compliance with applicable law.
  • Once all transactions and disputes are resolved, your account and personal information will be deleted as requested.

8. Children's Privacy

Shopped is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Shopped MW. This policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services before providing them with personal information.

10. Changes to This Policy

  • We reserve the right to modify or update this policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, platform functionality, or legal requirements.
  • Any changes will be communicated through the platform or via email.
  • It is your responsibility to review the updated policy and familiarise yourself with any modifications.
  • Your continued use of the platform after a revised policy has been posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
