How to request deletion

To request permanent deletion of your Shopped account and associated personal data, email us from the phone number or email address registered to your account:

Or email support@shoppedmw.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request” and include your registered name and phone number so we can verify your identity. We will process verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

What gets deleted

When we delete your account, we permanently remove the personal data associated with it, including:

• Your profile information (name, phone number, email address, and profile photo).
• Saved delivery addresses.
• Your cart, wishlist, and followed shops.
• Chat messages and conversations.
• For sellers: your shop profile and product listings.
• Notification tokens and on-device personalisation data.

Deleting specific data without closing your account

You can also request deletion of specific personal data without deleting your whole account. Email support@shoppedmw.com from your registered phone number or email, with the subject “Data Deletion Request”, describing the data you would like removed (for example, saved addresses, chat history, or product photos). We will action verified requests within 30 days, except for records we are required to keep (see below).

What may be retained

• Records of completed transactions (orders, payments, payouts, and refunds) are retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes, for the period required by applicable law, after which they are deleted.
• If you have ongoing transactions or unresolved disputes, we may be unable to delete your account until they are resolved. In that case we retain only the information necessary to resolve the matter, then complete the deletion.
